I’m receiving orders for EpiPen® training pens every day. I’ve had first aid and c.p.r. training centers order them, corporate offices, schools, universities, daycare centers, summer camps, and travel & tour guides.
One reader had an excellent suggestion for training friends and family: Invite a group over, provide each of them with a training pen, and instruct them on how to use it properly. I’ve heard of people firing expired EpiPens into oranges for training purposes (and it is a useful exercise), but each pen can only be used once. EpiPen training pens fire exactly like an EpiPen, but without the needle or medication, so they can be used hundreds of times.

This is nice. The largest provider of summer day camps in California’s Bay Area, Galileo Learning http://www.galileo-learning.com/ contacted me yesterday as they have hundreds of campers that carry Epipens. For the second year in a row, they bought fifty Epipen training pens from me to train their staff. I love that they’re taking allergy safety seriously. Thank you, Galileo Learning, on behalf of your allergic campers and their parents.
