Thank you for commenting, Richard and Michele. Perhaps Richard can share the name of the camp in PA, if he revisits this page. I’m sorry, but I don’t have that information.

can you tell the name of the camp in PA that is referenced as nut free? I’d like to look into it. Thanks!

** Please note: Centauri endeavors to keep nuts and peanuts from all meals, however our manufacturers cannot guarantee items have not come into contact with nut traces.

I would NOT consider this camp to be Peanut or Tree Nut Free, only Peanut Aware.

There is an overnight camp in PA makes sure that any food that comes into camp:
1)does not contain any peanuts or tree nuts
2)does not contain any traces of peanuts or or tree nuts
3)is not made in a plant where peanut or tree nuts are present
    4) does not allow any products that are made on shared equipment.

They also check all bags before they come on the bus, as well as go through all bags that come into camp on visiting day. They make sure that ALL campers sit together when they go to other camps or on excursion (and pack their own food). This is NOT a camp just for children with peanut/tree nut allergies.
