Remember Mr. Alex Montreuil, the man who was assaulted at Jewish General Hospital in Montreal by a woman who threw his known life threatening food allergen (tomato) in his face? She missed a Criminal Court appearance yesterday, June 3rd, and a warrant has been issued for her arrest. After five and a half long months, she was finally charged under section 267a of the Criminal Code, the offence of using a weapon to assault a person, and Mr. Montreuil finally learned the name of his attacker: Evelyn Samantha Donis. I was interviewed on the Tommy Schnurmacher CJAD 800 AM show this morning to discuss the case.
